LAUREN ROOKE
Lauren is a regular Australian Trail Running Representative, physiotherapist (pediatrics and disability), and mum of two from Adelaide. She is a lifelong runner, and now hopes to share her passion and expertise with the RunAsOne community.
In 2022, Lauren combined her caring nature with her incredible distance running ability to run the Adelaide Marathon at 26 weeks pregnant and raise funds for aid agency Bright Future. This agency supports midwives and safe births in Uganda; a cause close to Lauren’s heart after she experienced so much support from local midwives during a difficult first pregnancy. Despite the obvious barriers to high performance that she would have faced that day, Lauren still managed to finish 9th and inspire and motivate a wide audience who either witnessed the achievement, or read one of the many news stories covering Lauren’s feat.

Lauren’s race results:
Australian Trail Running Representative 2017, 2019 and 2024
Ultra Trail Australia 50km 2018 – 4th (22km/ 1100m + elev.)
Buffalo Stampede Grand Slam 72km 2022 & 2025 1st (72km/ 3655m + elev.)
Ultra Trail Kosciuszko 2023 (UTMB) – 2nd (50km / 1802m + elev.)
Trail Running SA Series Winner 2024 & 2025
2nd Australian at OCC (55km) 2024
We are so excited to be able to share Lauren’s expertise, diverse skills and knowledge, and caring nature to help RunAsOne athletes achieve their trail and road running goals!
