FRASER DARCY

ASSOCIATE COACH

Fraser started running in high school to supplement his football and other sporting commitments. Living in the Belair area this meant many of his easy runs were on trails setting him up for success for when he started entering his first events from 2013 onwards. Fraser learnt to balance his running ambitions with his work in outdoor education through the late 2010’s and early 2020’s earning himself some admirable results across those years (amongst impressive trips such as kayaking across Bass Strait). A move to Quorn, 4 hours north of Adelaide in the heart of the Flinders Ranges, in 2021 was a catalyst for Fraser to spend more time training and racing leading to an impressive resume of results in the last two years. Originally a trail runner with experience from 10k’s to 115k’s, Fraser has recently enjoyed running much faster on the smooth roads around Adelaide.
