DYLAN TRENERRY
Dylan is an Adelaide-based qualified running coach, personal trainer, triathlete and four-time Ironman finisher. He entered the sport of recreational running in 2016 and swiftly progressed through to another branch of the sport, triathlon. Dylan's passion for the sport has led him to become an all-rounded running coach and competitor. He has experience in endurance and triathlon racing and has a number of podium finishes from Olympic distance triathlons to longer distance. In 2021, he became the Olympic distance and long course triathlon state age group champion, having competed at Victor Harbor and in Barmera - Murray Man. After months of training for Busselton Ironman, and looking to better his 9:34 best time from 2019 for the 70.3 distance, unfortunately travel restrictions permitted Dylan from making it to WA. Instead he took an opportunity for a last minute Melbourne Marathon entry and was rewarded for his hard work with a PB of 2:53.27!
He credits his enthusiasm to focusing on keeping it all fun. He is passionate about helping people see beyond their limitations and overcome obstacles. Coaching with empathy, Dylan is a family man and has learned what it takes to balance life for successful training. In October 2021, Dylan’s fiancé Natarsha gave birth to their first child Dylan Junior (DJ) followed in March 2024 with the arrival of DJ's little sister Callie. Often up at the crack of dawn to fit his own training around full-time work, parenting and coaching, unbelievable Dylan is never without a smile and exudes energy wherever he goes!
